European Union

To raise awareness and understanding of the European Union and its policies, the Political, Trade, Press and Information Section of the Delegation carries out a wide range of information and communication activities. They include the updating of the Delegation's website, publications and organisation of events that target various audiences interested in learning more about the European Union's relations with Botswana and SADC.

The Section is responsible for organising press conferences, seminars as well as cultural events. It also issues press releases on EU-related events, organises press visits to EU funded projects. The Delegation also has a stock of EU publications which interested journalists and members of the general public may obtain on request.
