European Book Club 22 February (25/01/2012)

Ottawa - The Network of European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) is holding its first book club on 22 February at Saint Paul University.
On this occasion, literature enthusiasts will have the chance to hear about and discuss We are doing fine (Es geht uns gut), a prized post-war novel by Austrian author Arno Geiger. The book examines the life of three generations of a Viennese family. Born in 1968, Geiger is the recipient of the 2005 German Book Prize for We are doing fine.
EUNIC is currently constituted by the Austrian Cultural Forum, the Goethe Institut, the Romanian Cultural Institute and the Instituto Camões of Portugal.
The book club gets underway Wednesday, 22 February, at 6 p.m. at Saint Paul University at 223 Main Street, Ottawa. Free admission. Please register at eubookclub.ottawa@gmail.com
