What is NAOSU?

The Gambia is represented by the National Authorising Officer (NAO) in all EU-supported programs implemented under the European Development Fund. The NAO is the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs.

The NAO Support Unit was established to carry out the work required to coordinate and implement various EU-Gambia cooperation programmes and projects.
