Further to a request received from the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning for the preparation of the next programming round under the 11th European Development Fund, the EU Delegation to Ghana commissioned a study on the Country Environmental Profile. This followed a validation workshop attended by Government sector Ministries and Agencies, Research entities, Civil Society Organizations, Private Sector Bodies and Donors.  The final report pdf - 4 MB [4 MB] gives a comprehensive overview of the environmental situation in the country.  Furthermore, practical recommendations are listed and will contribute to defining the sector priorities for the EU and Government of Ghana for support in the period 2014 - 2020.
