Background:

The University of Porto is a Portuguese higher education institution with origins dating back to the eighteenth century.  Having completed this year 100 years of existence, the University of Porto is currently the largest education and research institution in Portugal.  With 14 faculties and a business school, the University of Porto provides an exceptional variety of courses, covering the whole range of study areas and all levels of higher education.  Every year, more than 3,500 international students and researchers choose this university to complete their higher education.

Within the framework of its policy of internationalization, the University of Porto has been participating in several applications to international programmes that support the mobility of students and academic staff and is honoured to coordinate the MUNDUS ACP II Project, a renewal of the project coordinated last year for the same geographical region.

Detailed information concerning the eligibility criteria and the application procedures are available in the enclosed leaflets as well as in project’s website (available in Portuguese, Spanish, French and English): http://mundusacp2.up.pt
