EU Study Weeks

EU Study Weeks provide an opportunity for Russian students of international relations, history, law, economics and related subjects to get first-hand information about the European Union directly from EU officials, as well as from European and Russian experts. EU Study Weeks participants have a unique opportunity to meet like-minded people and make new contacts.
The Delegation of the European Union to Russia launched the initiative in 1998. Since then more than 40 EU Study Weeks have been organised throughout Russia, from Kaliningrad to Krasnoyarsk.
EU Study Weeks participants are selected on a competitive basis and may be undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate students.
Lectures and interactive activities are conducted by Russian and European officials and diplomats as well as specialists from different fields: academia, civil society, the business sector, and the media.
The usual programme includes lectures, seminars, interactive games, as well as social activities.
In 2013 four EU Study Weeks will take place in Volgograd (February), Yekaterinburg (June), Vyborg (August) and Nizhny Novgorod (October).
