The European Union Ambassador to South Sudan has appealed to the South Sudanese women to continue fighting for their rights. Ambassador Christian Bader speaking on the International Women’s Day on Monday also urged those in leadership to increase women’s representation to make the society a better place for all.

He also recalled the concrete support the EU is giving to women empowerment in South Sudan, also through the 6.5 million Euro invested recently in related projects.

In the build up to the #internationalwomensday2021, the European Delegation to South Sudan launched a photo competition under the theme: “Inspirational Women in South Sudan”.
