Arab League renews rejection of ICC decision (12/12/2011)

The SG of the Arab League, Nabil Al-Arabi, affirmed that the AL is sticking to the decision issued by the AL Ministerial Council last March. Al-Arabi affirmed coincidence of stances between the AL and the AU, namely the resolution of the Arab-African summit conducted last October on importance of implementing article (16) of the Rome statute. Al-Arabi stressed on the need for unification of regional and international efforts to support peace and stability in Sudan.
