European Union

The European Union (EU) is one of the major donors of Sudan.  There are many cooperation projects including bilateral and multilateral projects.  The projects focus on a wide range of issues in the fields of health and educational sectors, rural development and food projects, governance and human rights.  EU cooperation is demand-driven, results-oriented, and based capacity-building through expert and policy advice.
