Today the European Union is the country's largest donor. EU and Syria have shared interest towards a stable and prosperous region. The partnership between the European Union and Syria covers many areas. With 27 countries, nearly 500 million people and one of the largest GDP's in the world, the EU has a lot to offer to Syria in terms of both support and expertise to the country's reforms, business opportunities and exchange, and people-to-people dialogue in fields such as education, culture and other social spheres. Through this website you will discover the many possibilities of EU-Syria exchange and dialogue, through scholarships, conferences, training, technical cooperation, competitions and many other opportunities.

This website is designed to serve as a doorway to the EU, its institutions and policies.
