Attracting investment to Izium: EU-funded project organises workshop in Kharkiv region (01/03/2008)
The European Union funded “Sustainable local development in Ukraine” Project will organize a workshop in Izium (Kharkiv region) on 4 March 2008 entitled “Attracting investments to the territorial community: ways to succeed”
The workshop is intended to provide support to the realisation of the Strategic Plans. The issues to be discussed in the framework of the workshop will include:
- existing mechanisms of attracting investment into the local area
- Ukrainian experience in attracting investment into local municipalities
- examples of information support to the process of attracting investment (eg. Internet resources)
The workshop will also discuss the priorities of the municipality of Izium for attracting investment. These priorities will form the basis of a long-term investment plan for the municipality.
