28 students and 8 academics from Ukraine awarded EU-funded Erasmus Mundus Scholarships for 2009-2010 (02/06/2009)

28 students and 8 scholars from Ukraine were selected for EU-funded Erasmus Mundus scholarships to study in the Universities of EU Member States.

A total number of 2316 third country students and scholars were granted scholarships to study in European Universities in one of the 103 EU Erasmus Mundus Master courses in the academic year 2009-2010. All those students and scholars were selected on a competitive basis.

In addition55 students and 3 scholars from Ukraine were selected for the reserve list. They may be awarded Erasmus Mundus scholarships in replacement of students and scholars from the main list.

Since its launch in 2004, the EU's Erasmus Mundus Programme has granted scholarships to 130 Ukrainian students and 27 scholars.
