EU-funded Twinning project on gas regulation to hold opening press conference (01/10/2009)
The EU-funded Twinning project "Regulatory and Legal Capacity Strengthening of Natural Gas Regulation in National Electricity Regulatory Commission of Ukraine (NERC)" will hold an opening event and press conference on 7 October 2009.

The press conference will give further information about this new 27-month, €1.2 million project, which will included legal approximation of EU standards in Ukrainian natural gas regulation.
EU-funded twinning projects bring representatives of Member States to work with third countries such as Ukraine on institution building. Twinning projects require a Resident Twinning Adviser (an EU Member State civil servant) to be stationed in the country for the duration of the project.
