President of the European Council, Herman Van Rompuy, visits Kyiv (09/07/2010)

Upon the invitation of The President of Ukraine, Mr. Viktor Yanukovych, The President of the European Council, Mr. Herman Van Rompuy will pay a working visit to Ukraine on 9 July 2010.

The President of the European Council will meet with President Viktor Yanukovych, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov as well as with Speaker of the Parliament Volodymyr Lytvyn. He will also receive former Prime Minister Yulia Timoshenko at the EU Delegation in Kyiv.

The meetings will cover issues of mutual interest such as the reform process in Ukraine and EU-Ukraine relations, including the state-of-play of negotiations on the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement.
