The EU Delegation to Swaziland has collaborated with MTN Bushfire, Swaziland's biggest annual arts festival, to run an EU photo competition for young people.
The competition was launched on 10 April 2014 and the prizes will be presented during the Bushfire festival to be held on 31 May – 1 June 2014. The EU Delegation to Venezuela is organising an European Forest Maintenance activity at the Zoological park of Caricuao in Caracas.
UEMS will also take part of this activity if it is approved by the park authorities. In 2009 more than 3000 trees were planted by over 150 volunteers (students, groups of scouts, neighbours) in a deforested area, with the participation and sponsorship of several NGOs, the government and the private sector. The EU has signed an agreement through the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) for the three-years project “Institutional Support to Strengthen the Sugar Industry Research and Development Institute (SIRDI)". The documentary "Songs Redemption" has won three major awards at film festivals in Los Angeles, Toronto and Trinidad. It follows the story of five inmates who participated in an EU funded rehabilitation programme at the Tower Street Adult Correctional Facility in Kingston, Jamaica. It shows the day to day experiences and challenges of the inmates, the circumstances that brought them in conflict with the law but also the hope that the rehabilitation programme nurtures. The rehabilitation program in Jamaica is funded by the EU through its European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR) in five correctional institutions. The public showing in Belize, organised by the EU Delegation, follows on a similar initiative with the documentary in Jamaica. In June 2013 the EU Delegation to Jamaica, Belize, The Bahamas, Turks and Caicos Islands signed a one-year contract with Rise Life Management Services (€150,000) under EIDHR for support to children in detention. The programme commenced activities in December 2013. The objectives of the programme are: 1) to provide psychosocial and rehabilitative support for 400 children living in detention and state care; 2) to promote early reporting of sexual abuse among children; 3) to empower children with tools to distinguish between appropriate and inappropriate behaviours.Country: Jamaica | Activity: Other
In a partnership with Centro Empresarial Brasil 21, EU member states' delicacies will be served in Dalí Camões restaurant. National dishes from EU-Brazil recipe book (published last May) will be used to compose a menu signed by Dalí Camões chef. The official inauguration, for invited guests only, will take place on the 12th May. Afterwards, each day a dinner-buffet with a selection of dishes from different parts of Europe will be available for any interested customer at a fixed price established by the restaurant.
EU member states are welcome to talk about their national dishes with the restaurant (through a contact person in EUNIC) or even send a national chef or Embassy employee to supervise the preparing process.

On the occasion of Europe Day, the EU Delegation to Yemen will pay tribute to Yemeni artists and their important role in the current transition process. For the tenth consecutive year European Running Competition (Corrida União Europeia) - professional 5km and 10 km race - will be organized in Brasilia. This year the race will take place on 11th May (Mother’s Day), at Eixo Rodoviário Sul, at 8 a.m. Around 2.000 participants are expected. Some special Mother´s Day activities are planned as well. As in the past editions, we obtained two flight tickets to Europe (sponsored by TAP) that will be used as ruffle-prizes to be drawn by the athletes. Another race has been proposed to the Curitiba authorities and request is being studied (note that the city might be by then already preparing for the World Cup and not available for a race).

The University of Florida (UF) will host an opening reception of "Getting to Know Your Neighbors". With the common guidance of a UF Center for European Studies affiliate oral historian and oral historians from the Samuel Proctor Oral History Program at UF, educators in public schools, instructions from European photographers, Maria Kapajeva and Tomas Zerek, and CES advising and oversight, students will complete a combined oral history and visual art project. Students will be encouraged to connect with Floridians who have ties to Europe and learn about their lives. Traditional bazaar is an opportunity for EU Member States and National Cultural Institutes to promote their culture, language and cuisine through national stands, in festive atmosphere. The event will be combined with life music and dance shows and will be a great opportunity to dialogue with Brazilian society.
All EU member states, even the ones that do not participate in Europe Week, are welcome to participate in the bazaar, free of charge. Each interested country will receive a space (a national stand) to be used the way they wish (to sell national dishes and delicacies, exhibit handcraft, distribute promotional materials, etc). Any potential profit from selling the goods goes back to the exhibitor. EU member states can, as well, indicate a national restaurant (if there is one in Brasilia) or a folklore group to participate in the event.

A concert by the Xiquitsi music project, on the 30 years EU-Mozambique relations, will be co-organized by the EU Delegation to Mozambique. The Xiquitsi project was launched in 2013 and was designed to aim for social integration and inclusion through music, with a strong capacity development component in partnership with the National Music School and a Cultural Association, Kulungwana. They have promoted a high quality classical music festival that continues to be part of the project, now with the set up of the first Youth Orchestra in the country. Due to the crucial importance of this year for Georgia - signature of the AA/DCFTA scheduled for June – the Delegation will hold a large scale open-air event at the Ethnographic Museum on 10 May together with the Tbilisi municipality and 12 Member States (out of 15 present in Georgia) as well as the EU Monitoring Mission and EBRD. The event to start midday and end about 9 pm, will bring together people from all walks of life to see and participate in presentations/exhibitions/cuisine/choirs/cultural activities etc. by the 'EU family' and art schools under the Tbilisi Municipality. On the occasion of Europe Day, the EU Mission to Somalia has organised on 9th of May in Mogadishu, in presence of the President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud, and Somalia's partners a ceremony celebrating the joint partnership.
The event took place in the international airport of Mogadishu and included flags & anthems ceremony, speeches, the official hand over of the new "Scoping Study on the culture sector in Somalia" (made by EU & Unesco), a large press conference and a lunch.

On the 9th of May The EU Delegation for the Pacific will launch a competition to "Re- invent the EU logo with a Pacific Touch” asking for an EU bula design. Bula clothing are traditional formal clothing (shirt/dress) in the Pacific inspired by fauna and flora designs.
Designers from all over the Region would be able to stylise, embellish and elaborate on the stars and blue colour of the EU logo but specifically with the fauna and flora, cultural arts and motifs of the Pacific regions. The designers will be asked to use these ideas to design EU-Pacific-styled wear for women, men and children.Country: Fiji | Activity: Other events
The Fiji Museum and parts of adjacent Thurston Gardens will be rented for the event. EU's Development partners (more than 20 have confirmed) will prepare exhibitions along the walls of the veranda. The event is organised by the EU Delegation for the Atlantic.
During the day (from 10 am – 5 pm) access to the Fiji Museum will be free of charge for the general public and tourists who can thus use the occasion to enjoy both the permanent exhibitions of the Fiji Museum and the temporary exhibitions of development partners. On that occasion there will also be a signing ceremony for an EU funded development programme as well as a press conference promoting development cooperation between the EU and the Pacific.
In the evening and following the exhibition, the EU Delegation for the Pacific will host a reception. The museum and the garden will be closed to the general public but invited guests will be able to enjoy exhibitions (both museum and developments cooperation) while participating in the reception.

In this treasure hunt, children between 12 and 15 years old will explore Suva's city centre in quest of twelve pit-stops, starting and finishing at the front of EU Delegation. At each pit-stop they'll be asked to answer three questions: one about Fiji to gain the hint for finding the next pit-stop and two about the EU to gain victory points. Each pit-stop will be managed be an EU DEL designated adult. Only one team per school is allowed to register for participation and each team has to be made of five children, mixed male/female. Children between 6 and 11 years old are invited to spend the morning at the Suva City Library doing various Europe-themed activities. These will include: drawing competition (EU flags on A3-sized paper); drawing on a large banner under the theme "What Europe means to me?"; free drawing; face painting (Europe-themed by a local artist: flags, landmarks etc); and movie screening. To commemorate Europe Day, the Delegation of the EU in Djibouti, in collaboration with the European CSDP Mission EUCAP Nestor, is organising a sport event. It will be the first such event to be organised in Djibouti and has received support from several sponsors.
Tennis, beach-volley, petanque and football matches will be offered to hundreds of participants and spectators, children, students and families, in the premises of the Djiboutian Tennis Federation. Numerous prizes and gifts will be awarded to winners, and free refreshments and snacks distributed. Information on the activities of the EU in Djibouti will be provided through a photo exhibition and a doc screening.
The sport event will be largely announced (big banners in town, newspaper articles, posters etc.) and covered by the local media. Over 20 artists from EUMS and some Turkish artists will perform in three different public locations in central Istanbul. Two stages are to be set up at selected locations in Istiklal street (the most popular pedestrian street in the city), which is also being decorated with EU and TR flags all along. An additional stage is to be set up in a separate popular location in the Sisli Municipality.
Street artists and performers (street theatre, platform walkers, face painting, human sculptures, etc.) will also perform all along Istiklal street. The historical tram riding along Istiklal is to be decorated with EU themes and will host a special wagon with a band of musicians playing along the street. On 9th of May, the EU Delegation to Mozambique will host the traditional Europe Day reception. This year, in the framework of the 30 years commemoration, a special location (the Fortaleza) has been chosen to host the event and will include the launch of the 30 years commemorative month of May in Mozambique.
A special photo exhibition showing some of the key achievements of the special partnership between the EU and Mozambique will be inaugurated, stands by partners and beneficiaries of development aid will exhibit their own achievements, and the National Dance Company (CNCD) will provide a piece centered around the cooperation.
A media campaign is foreseen to take place around that date, including TV, radio and newspapers. The Wine and Cheese Expo is an event held as part of the annual Jakarta Fashion and Food Festival (JFFF). It is directly inspired from the Marathon du Médoc and Festival which takes place every year in the South of France, and initially aimed at introducing the wine culture to Indonesians. At least 11 embassies of EU Member States and 29 European companies will be participating in this year's Expo, which takes place in North Jakarta, and where there will be an EU Pavilion from the 9th to the 18th of May, supported by the EU Delegation to Indonesia.

En prélude à la fête du 9 mai, la Délégation de l'UE au Tchad organise le festival du cinéma euro-africain dans la capitale puis en provinces. Le festival du cinéma qui vise à projeter gratuitement les films dans les différents sites retenus permet aussi d'améliorer la connaissance des actions de l’Union européenne au Tchad auprès du public cible ainsi que les produits et les effets issus de l'appui de l'Union européenne. Le festival sera lancé officiellement le 24 avril dans la capitale.
Un concours de dessin et un concours de rédaction seront organisés pour les élèves de l'école primaire. Les règlements des deux concours sont présentés dans quelques écoles retenues dans la capitale. Des prix récompenseront les gagnants des deux concours.

The cookbook features recipes, festivals and general trivia from the 28 EU Member States. It will be distributed to the public for free. To launch the publication, the EU Delegation to Malysia is collaborating with the Berjaya School of Hospitality for a cooking demonstration and reception featuring some of the recipes. The second European Culinary Season will take place in May and June. The exhibition, entitled "Palestinian Captions" was the result of the work of ten European and Palestinian photographers who travelled in the West Bank in December 2013 in the framework of the Euromed Youth Programme. Its aim was to promote "Euromed Youth" projects and youth collaboration in general. The exhibition travelled in Ramallah, Bethlehem University and Al Najah University in Nablus and will now be exhibited on the side-lines of the Europe Day reception at the EU Residence in East Jerusalem. The EU Delegation to Uzbekistan will participate in an International Food Festival organized alongside other missions. A grand concert paying tribute to Greek music on 9 May at 20:00 in Harpa Concert Hall in Reykjavik, organised by the EU Delegation to Iceland and EU Info Centre in Reykjavík, to celebrate the Europe Day and the Greek Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
Guests will be invited to learn about and enjoy the music of the esteemed Greek composer Nikos Skalkottas (1904 – 1949), performed by the Icelandic music ensemble CAPUT, the world renowned Australian pianist Geoffrey Douglas Made and Thora Einardsdóttir, one of Iceland´s most beloved opera singer.
In the second half of the concert the Greek folk music band Prinkipessa Orchestra will play music by the Greek folk music composer Vasilis Tsitsanis (1915 – 1984). The concert is free but tickets must be reserved. The reception for the celebration of the Europe Day, organised by the EU Delegation to Nepal, will take place in the Hyatt Hotel in Kathmandu.
This event will welcome around 350 relevant stakeholders: government and the state representatives including politicians, bureaucrats and service providers; private sector; civil society including NGOs, community-based organizations, interest-based networks, academia and the media; and the international community in Nepal.
During the reception EU funded projects will be highlighted as well as the impact of the meetings of the Ambassador with the Nepal Government. The Canberra International Music Festival is presenting a series of concerts entitled “The Fire and the Rose” from 9 – 18 May. This year's festival explores the centenary of the commencement of World War I and the 75th anniversary of the outbreak of World War II through the works of composers who wrote while serving as soldiers on all sides.
The EU Delegation to Australia is presenting the opening concert and hosting a reception, as well as sponsoring “The Christmas Truce” concert on May 16. Collaborative concerts are also presented by a number of Member States represented in Canberra.
In the lead up to the concert program, a series of radio programs featuring the EU and MS Ambassadors is broadcast.

A reception at the EU Delegation to UN will take place on 9 May at lunch time. EU Member States will present culinary specialties of their region, which underscores the EU's unity in diversity and adds a truly European flavour to the celebration. In addition, given the 10th anniversary of the enlargement, there will be a special food corner for the enlargement countries. The EUDEL communication team will produce a video of the festivities, highlighting also the enlargement anniversary by interviewing some of the EU Ambassadors. This year the reception organised by the EU Delegation to Cambodia will take place on the evening of 9th of May either at the Olympic Stadium or at the National Circus School. Around 400 participants are expected to take part in the event, including ambassadors and representatives from EU Member States, representatives from the Royal Government of Cambodia, members of the diplomatic corps, as well as representatives of the UN and other international agencies in Cambodia and members of the international and Cambodian civil society. In late 2013, the EU approved grant funding for two new projects as well as the signing of further support for two other projects. As a show of the continued cooperation with the Government, a mock signing ceremony will take place and a new media campaign - leading up to the recognition of the EU/GoJ fortieth year of cooperation in 2015 - will be launched by the National Authorising Office. The EU Delegation to India is organising the intiative "EU comes to your school", targeting senior students (of standard IX and above), wherein EU Diplomats and Ambassadors from EU Member States introduce the history, geography and culture of Europe to the students, showing how the Union has managed to bring about 'Unity in Diversity' as well as peace and prosperity to a continent that until the middle of the 20th century had been periodically ravaged by disputes and wars.
They will also highlight the dynamics of the EU-India relationship, including educational opportunities for university studies in Europe. On that occasion trailers from the European Film Festival (EFF) - starting the week after 9 May for a 2 week period in Trinidad and one week in Tobago - will be screened. This year's Europe Day celebration is a special event in many ways. For the first time in many years, we are commemorating the day jointly with all the EU Member States represented in Botswana, France, Germany and the UK. In addition, the event also commemorates the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War. The logo for the event encompasses the Origami Peace Dove and the four flags (see attached below).
The Delegation will have an information table to distribute some relevant publications such as "Europe: What's all about?" About 500 people (a large audience by Botswana standards) from government, the private sector, NGOs, civil society, media, academia, military, performing arts, church leaders and the police will attend. The inauguration of the 16th European film festival in Chile will be held at the Palacio de La Moneda Cultural Centre. The EU Delegation to West Bank and Gaza will organize its sixth annual fair to celebrate Europe Day. The event, which will be officially launched by the Palestinian Prime Minister Hamdallah and EU Representative, brings together more than 25 partner organizations and hundreds of visitors. It is an open day taking place at the heart of Ramallah and includes an exhibition of EU-funded projects as well as European cultural and educational institutions. The main Europe Day event of the EU Delegation to to Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein will take place of the main high schools in the capital, with the participation of Swiss State Secretary for Foreign Affairs Yves Rossier. The students of the school will actively contribute to the program. Expected are around 300 guests from policy, public administration, stakeholders and the civil society. The chosen slogan "Wähle Dein Europa" (which in German can mean both "Choose your Europe" and "Elect your Europe") hints to the increased liberties of choice today's youth benefits thanks to the European integration process as well as to this year's EP elections. "Europe Day TV Concert" is a live-broadcast indoor concert aiming at marking Europe Day as well as promoting the EU in Cambodia. A new project by the European Union, partnering with Kenyan educational and justice institutions, to reduce all forms of child violence in nine counties of Kenya was launched at St Catherine’s Primary School in Nairobi as part of Europe Week activities. Governor Kidero opened the event welcoming the move towards building family, community and institutional systems to protect children.
The project will run over three years and will reach tens of thousands of children, and involve a quarter of a million living in Nairobi’s slums. The project will work with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Kenya Police, the Teachers Service Commission, the Probation Department, county governments and other agencies.
The programme will include support to children with disabilities, those subjected to transactional sex and also provide legal services to children in need. There will be life skills training for children and peer education.Country: Kenya | Activity: Other events

The festival is traditionally coordinated by the Presidency of the Council of the EU. This year's films follow the theme SPORTS (with emphasis on football due to upcoming sports events). The curator of this year's edition is Sergio Moriconi, journalist, professor, screenwriter, film curator and coordinator of “Cine Brasília” who has also been curator of the Europe's Week Film Festival already a number of years. 17 movies representing 17 EU member States have been confirmed. SEA-Write awarded Thai, Ms. Chiranan Pitpreecha, is invited to translate Ode to Joy lyrics into Thai. The ceremony to celebrate Europe Day 2014 will start with her recital of Ode to Joy lyrics in form of a Thai poem on the stage. A multi-disciplinary panel co-organized by the EU Delegation to Argentina, Jean Monnet Chair at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) Law School, European Club and EU MS embassies on the role of Europe in the world today. A 4 hour briefing discussing key issues and challenges related to media coverage of EU integration will take place during the Europe Week. A basketball tournament will take place in three BiH cities (Tuzla Mostar and Banja Luka) with participation of high school students. There will be eight games per tournament each lasting 15 min supported by announcements, LED display messages, and cheering by the audience. After every second game, a short free throw competition for audience will be organised. The Head of Delegatin , the EU Special Representative and the Deputy Head of Delegation will alternate to open games in different cities including the first throw and announcing /awarding the winning teams. For the third consecutive year, the Europe Day 2014 celebrations in Colombia will take place in a capital city of a department: Bucaramanga, Capital of Santander. Nineteen Member States plus the EU Delegation representatives will attend the celebrations: the thirteen Heads of diplomatic missions accredited in the country, and six Honorary Consuls from countries not represented. The programme drawn up by the EU Missions and the Mayor's Office will comprise off cultural and academic activities including the 20th anniversary of Eurocine in Colombia, European concerts and workshops concerning the social role of culture and sustainable development. The programme will run from 6 to 9 May. The EU Delegation to Leotho is again organising different activities in the framework of the Europe Week. The motto of this year will be "Europe to the Districts". The week will start with a breakfast for the country's press, hosted by the Head of Delegation. A small team from the Delegation will visit the ten districts of the country and will inform the local administration about the activities of the EU in Lesotho, focusing on the support to decentralisation.
Activities for children will aslo be organised. The school programme will inform school pupils about today's Europe and a quiz on Europe will be held. Finally, a one-day football tournament will be organised in Maseru, with the participation of school children, mainly from rural areas. Amidst all activities planned to celebrate the Europe day 2014, the EU Delegation to Cambodia and the EU Member States in Cambodia, in collaboration with the Khmer Youth Association (KYA), will organise for the second time a bicycle tour in Phnom Penh. The theme of this year is: "EUROPE ON A BICYCLE: Green is Beautiful". About 600 participants are expected to take part.

The New York University Faculty Resource Network’s New Europe Project promotes greater knowledge of Europe both in the New York metro area and throughout the U.S. The stated goal of this initiative is “to raise awareness about EU policies and institutions, the EU’s role as an international actor in the economic and political field, and the value of the EU-US relationship.” Twenty Faculty Resource Network member institutions have committed to this project by sending faculty members as Institutional Ambassadors to three faculty development seminars focusing on an issue of crucial importance in contemporary Europe, including immigration, politics and economics. The European Union Delegation in Mexico is present at the Friends´Culture Fair for the fifth year in a row. This two week-event is very successful. It is organized by Mexico City Government in one of the main avenue of the capital, where 86 Embassies participate with information stands, food, handicrafts, cultural activities etc.The EU Delegation's stand offers information on the EU. The Delegation also coordinated EU Member States' Embassies participation, with additional stands under a common EU brand.

In celebration of Europe Day 2013, Evrópustofa, the EU Info Centre in Iceland, will host two concerts in the Harpa Concert Hall in Reykjavík, Saturday 11 May. Europe Day 2013 celebrations will be focused in Barranquilla, a city with an important commercial harbour and historical ties with Europe through European immigration to Colombia.
Europe Day will be marked by a series of academic and cultural events organised by EU Member State embassies. These include a discussion on the role of women in peace negotiations, an exhibition on the 50 years of friendship between Germany and France, a piano concert and the XIX Eurocine European Film Festival. DEVCO peace laboratories projects and some of the European Union Member States will illustrate their implementation results in a so-called "projects fair".
The following day, the Trade Agreement between the European Union and Colombia will be discussed at a round table event. Throughout the month of May and in four different cities across Brazil, Europe will be celebrated with concerts, tennis tournaments and seminars. The EU will host its annual Europe Day Fair in Ramallah exhibiting EU-funded projects from East Jerusalem, West Bank and Gaza. More than twenty of the EU's major partners in Palestine will participate as well as European cultural and education institutions. A variety of activities for all ages will take place (photo exhibition, Europe Zone, performance by the Palestinian circus school, recreational activities for children). The EU Representative and Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Salam Fayyad will officially open the event.

"Viva Europa" is the European Union's annual cultural showcase working closely with local partners and Member States' embassies to celebrate Europe Day in the Philippines. This year's celebrations bring to Manila the best in European art, music, dance, film, languages, food and poetry.
For the first time it will include a culinary festival to highlight Europe's incredibly diverse cuisine and food culture that continues to be appreciated across the globe. Events will include chef demonstrations, special European menus at select restaurants, pub quizzes, food tasting, culinary film screenings and tongue-twisting language quizzes.
In addition to this there will also be a poetry recital with European diplomats and well known Filipino writers. The European Film Festival has now become a permanent feature on Indonesia's cultural calendar. This year's "Europe on Screen" (EOS)" is the 13th edition of the Festival. EOS 2013 will take place in 7 cities across Indonesia: Bandung, Denpasar, Jakarta, Makassar, Medan, Surabaya and Yogyakarta in collaboration with EU Member States' embassies. Presenting 72 films from 30 European countries, the EOS 2013 will present a mosaic of films by emerging cinematic talents as well as established masters of European cinema. On May 9th there will be an online interview with the Head of Delegation on Chinese Twitter (weibo) in the afternoon, followed by the Europe Day Garden Party at the Delegation.
Over 2,000 guests will hear live performances including a piano, cello and violin trio performing classical music, a live band playing pop and rock favourites and the European anthem Ode to Joy by a choir from the Beijing Language University.
Also around the outside walls of the delegation building there will be a People-to-People Photo Exhibition, portraits of ordinary European and Chinese people in everyday life placed side by side to show similarities despite different cultures.

The EU Delegation will officially launch eleven projects supporting the Tanzanian Creative and Cultural Industries, in different parts of the country. A total of EUR 2.5 million (over Tshs. 5 billion) has been awarded
by the European Union as grants to these projects with the aim of supporting and promoting Tanzanian culture and also empowering cultural organisations, artists and creative technicians economically and professionally.
In addition, another project will be launched for the Social and Economic Rights of Women. The Delegation will partner with the national broadcasters (NBC) on the creation of two feature documentaries on two projects led by the EU. Senegal will celebrate Europe Day on May 8th, with a reception at the residence co-hosted by the European Investment Bank. This year's theme is ‘Citizenship’. A concert will be given by Matador, a famous Senegalese rapper whose message is one of ‘empowerment to the citizen’. Matador and his group lead by example through work in the community. They teach youngsters from Senegal and abroad skills like designing, video-art, dance and music production, whilst highlighting their duties and responsibilities as citizens. Along with other Common Security and Defense Policy missions, EUJUST LEX-Iraq will host a stand at the forthcoming Open Day Exhibition in Justus Lipsius in Brussels. Three members of staff will represent the mission: two will travel from Baghdad and one from our Brussels support team. At its Headquarters in Brussels, the EEAS will mark Europe Day by participating in the Open Doors event organised with the European Council on Saturday 4th of May with other European institutions.
EEAS staff from the EU's military and civilian missions will be joined by colleagues from the thematic and geographic divisions to show to the public the work the European External Action Service does throughout the world.

Europe Week celebrations will commence on 3 May with the opening of the European Film Days which will be held in Zagreb, Rijeka, Pula, Split, Novska and Dubrovnik until 11 May. The EU Delegation organizes this event in co-operation with the association Kulturni klub.
Other exciting events include a multimedia exhibition “Ja – građanin EU” (I am a citizen of the EU) in Zagreb’s Flower Square from 6-11 May before touring throughout Croatia and the traditional Europe Day at Zagreb's National University Library on 9 May. Renowned Croatian cellist Ana Rucner will perform during the event.
The concert "Rhythm of Europe 3" will be held at Zagreb’s Bundek lake on Friday, 10 May. Performers at the concert will include Gibonni and London Community Gospel Choir including Belfast Food and Kopito.Country: Croatia | Activity: Cultural events
This year, the European Film Festival "Europe on screen" will present the largest number of feature and animated films from fourteen European Union Member States during the month of May.

The Delegation will organise an information event together with the Nobel Peace Centre in Oslo. Guests will also have the opportunity to see the official Nobel Peace Prize exhibition 2012 as well as another exhibition at the NPC called "European Identities". The event will include speeches by the HoD, the Director of the NPC and another high level Norwegian speaker. The EU Delegation together with the Croatian national television HRT has created a new game show EUnigma.
