The European Commission invites proposals to stimulate training, exchanges and interactions between civil society organisations in the EU and the Republic of Korea. These actions will complement formal policy dialogues at governmental level.

Objectives :

• Promote capacity building amongst EU and ROK civil society organisations:

Activities undertaken in response to this Call for proposal should aim to engage EU and Republic of Korea civil society organisations in the organisation of training courses and exchanges of best practices on issues such as professional lobbying, raising public awareness, fund raising and civil society organisations management.

• Strengthen civil society organisations’ participation in international fora:

Activities undertaken in response to this Call for proposal should aim to engage EU and Republic of Korea civil society organisations to increase interaction between EU and Republic of Korea civil society organisations on particular topics at the occasion of events which are organised by third parties, i.e. to strengthen civil society organisation’s participation and international mobility for instance in conferences or negotiations under UN auspices, international seminars or fora or EU-Republic of Korea meetings.  More...
