EU Ambassador Marijana Kujundžić

Marijana KUJUNDŽIĆ is the Ambassador of the European Union to the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Marijana Kujundžić is a Croatian diplomat with extensive experience in European affairs, international law, and multilateral diplomacy. Since 2025, she has served as Ambassador of the European Union to the Republic of Azerbaijan. Prior to this appointment, she represented Croatia in the European Union’s Political and Security Committee (PSC), contributing to the development of the EU’s foreign, security, and defence policies.

Over the course of her diplomatic career, Ambassador Kujundžić has held a number of senior positions within Croatia’s Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and its diplomatic missions abroad. Her areas of expertise include the European Union’s Common Foreign and Security Policy, sanctions, crisis management, international legal affairs, and EU institutional processes. She also played an active role in Croatia’s preparations for accession to the European Union, leading initiatives aimed at strengthening institutional capacity and public understanding of EU policies.

Ambassador Kujundžić holds a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy and an LL.M. in International Business Law.
