On October 31 and November 1, EU Commissioner for Climate, Net Zero and Clean Growth, Wopke Hoekstra, visited Toronto to take part in the 9th Ministerial on Climate Action (MoCA9), hosted by The Honourable Julie Dabrusin, Canada’s Minister of Environment and Climate Change.

On October 30–31, EU Commissioner for Energy and Housing, Dan Jørgensen, and EU Commissioner for Environment, Water Resilience and a Competitive Circular Economy, Jessika Roswall, took part in the G7 Energy and Environment Ministers’ Meeting held in Toronto.

On November 11, EU High Representative/Vice-President Kaja Kallas and Minister of Foreign Affairs Anita Anand met in Niagara for the fourth Canada–EU Joint Ministerial Committee (JMC) to advance our close partnership and review progress since the 20th EU-Canada Summit held on 23 June 2025.
