New Call for Proposals under the Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Albania – Kosovo (2021–2027)

Global Objective
To promote good neighbourly relations, foster Union integration, and contribute to the social, economic and territorial development of the programme cross-border area by:
- improving environment protection and preservation of resources, and
- developing sustainable nature-and-culture tourism.
Thematic Priorities and Funding
- Lot 1: Protecting the environment, promoting climate change adaptation and mitigation, risk prevention and management
- Allocation: EUR 3,240,000
- Grant size: EUR 700,000 – 1,080,000
- Lot 2: Encouraging tourism and promoting cultural and natural heritage
- o Allocation: EUR 2,040,000
- o Grant size: EUR 300,000 – 510,000
Total allocation: EUR 5,280,000
Eligibility of Applicants
In order to be eligible, the lead applicant must:
- be a legal, non-profit-making entity;
- be one of the following types of organisations: non-governmental organisation, public body (national, regional, local), or body governed by public law;
- be effectively established in either Albania or Kosovo*;
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with co-applicants (not acting as an intermediary).
