Windows to the World: EU Delegation to Australia Open Day

Ever wanted to explore an embassy and learn more about diplomatic relations from the inside? The EU Delegation to Australia welcomed +1000 visitors through the doors on Saturday 12 October as part of the Windows to the World: Embassy Open Day.

Visitors got to learn more about European Union-Australia diplomacy from the inside and discover why Europe is a top destination for both travel and study.

Inside the EU Delegation visitors took a seat around the official table where top European diplomats regularly meet. And heard first-hand from EU officials about the day-to-day work of a diplomat.

Windows to the World coincided with Canberra's flower festival Floriade, which attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors each year.
