International Conference “Inclusive education: realities, challenges, prospects”, April 23-24, 2020, Baku, Azerbaijan

Within EU funded Project “Ensure Teacher Readiness for Inclusive Education” implemented by “Regional Development” Public Union (RDPU), Azerbaijan State
Pedagogical University (ASPU) has reviewed and advanced its curriculum on four specialties to integrate new education modules in inclusion. Furthermore, RDPU and ASPU, in cooperation with Concordia University of Edmonton (Canada) and University of Education Management (Ukraine), co-organize International Conference “Inclusive education: realities, challenges, perspectives” in order to contribute to advancement of inclusive education in Azerbaijan through encouraging researches and drawing more public attention to inclusive education.

 

TOPICS:

Initial researches clearly indicate that a teacher competency is one of the most important pillars of successful inclusive education and a competent teacher is the one who is equipped with effective learning approaches to welcome all kinds of needs of all children representing inclusive and multicultural society. Given these inextricably linked aspects of inclusive education, it is deemed relevant to determine the following three topics which encompass the above-mentioned:

  • Pre-service and in-service teacher training
  • Effective learning approaches for inclusive education
  • Inclusive education for an inclusive and multicultural society

IMPORTANT DATES AND DEADLINES:

  • April 1, 2020 – Submission of abstracts
  • April 5, 2020 – Notification of paper acceptance
  • April 15, 2020 – Registration for conference participation is closed
  • April 23-24, 2020 – International Conference

CRITERIA FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION:

Abstracts are accepted in Azerbaijani, English and Russian. Abstracts should be prepared in MS Word in following format.- Title (in bold capital letters);- Name and surname of the author (in bold capital letters);- Email address;- 3-5 keywords;- Times New Roman, 12 pt.;- Top, bottom, right, left – 1,5 cm;- Maximum 500 words.
