Human Capital Development Programme for Bangladesh 2021 (HCDP-21) |
With an impressive youth population of over 57 million, Bangladesh faces the challenges of harvesting the benefits of a demographic dividend. So, there is a need to act and fast! Education is a vital investment in ‘human capital’ for the 21st century. Together with the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education and the Technical and Madrasah Education Division (Ministry of Education), the EU aims to support a quality education reform, going from basic education to TVET and skills development. To unlock the economic potential of a country and build social cohesion, the potential of its young people needs to be actively sought and that’s exactly what we plan to do through this programme. |
