Sustained Opportunities for Nutrition Governance (SONGO)

Sustained Opportunities for Nutrition Governance (SONGO)

The project aims at ensuring Food and Nutrition Security for women and children with better feeding/care practices and an improved safe/hygiene environment. Furthermore, SONGO will ensure nutrition governance through facilitating accountability, transparency and participation mechanisms. Beneficiary selection is based on an ‘all-inclusive’ approach which no household leaves behind (most poor and vulnerable.) A distinctive feature is the use of mobile phone applications to foster interactions between health workers and their clients.
