European Union Visitors Programme: Apply Now to Participate in 2024
The EUVP organises tailor-made study visits to meet Members of the European Parliament, officials from the EU Institutions, and other EU stakeholders. The visits comprise both individual and joint meetings and activities with fellow EUVP participants. Joint meetings and activities are organised on the basis of visitors’ thematic interests or by bringing together visitors from neighbouring countries or regions.
Visitors have usually completed university education or equivalent training and have already gained a few years of professional experience. Basic knowledge of the EU Institutions is required, as is a sufficiently good command of English or French to allow active participation in meetings.
Belarusian rights defenders, environmentalists, journalists, trade unionists, representatives of civil society and non-governmental organisations residing in and out of Belarus are invited to apply. Preference is given to candidates of 25 to 35 years of age. Non-Belarusian applicants are invited to refer to the EU Delegation in the country of their citizenship.
Each study visit is individually tailored to meet the participant’s work profile and interests. A typical EUVP study tour lasts for five days in Brussels and may be extended to include Strasbourg and recently also Paris and/or Frankfurt.
The EUVP complies with the EU data protection rules.

To apply for selection, please complete the following three forms and send them by email to the Delegation of the European Union to Belarus (email@example.com) by 25 March 2023 with the following subject line: Application for EUVP 2024.
- Application Form
- Curriculum Vitae
- Statement of Purpose
The Statement of Purpose will inform the programme team as they plan individual programmes for all participants in accordance with their professional tasks and interests. To ensure that the individually tailored program reflects your motivation for the visit and your professional interest, the statement should include a description of your current responsibilities, EU theme(s) you wish to examine, topics you wish to discuss, and as well as a realistic list of desired appointments.
The selected candidates will be notified in the second half of 2023. The participants will then choose the dates of their study visits from a list of dates in 2024 that will be offered to them.
Please note that incomplete applications will not be processed. Only the selected candidates will be contacted.
