The goal of this €8 million programme is to contribute to the efforts of SADC countries to adapt to climate change and climate variability by providing science-based climate prediction and information services to national and regional planners and authorities.

The programme is creating user interface platforms to improve access to climate information across the region, thereby guaranteeing the provision of climate services at the regional and national levels.  The capacity of Southern African countries to generate climate information will be enhanced, contributing positively to the adoption of climate-informed decision-making.
