ENTREF - Support for women entrepreneurs in the agribusiness and craft sectors in Burundi

The project was launched in May 2022 and is implemented by the NGOs AVSI and Kaz‘o’zah Keza in close collaboration with the Ministry of Trade, Transport, Industry and Tourism. The main objective of the project is to improve the economic empowerment of women through entrepreneurship and a more favorable entrepreneurship ecosystem. Thus, the project allow reaching interdependent and mutually reinforcing objectives: i) to improve the capacities and skills of women entrepreneurs in the production, processing, and marketing of their products; ii) to facilitate their access to finance and to increase their income; iii) to make the entrepreneurship ecosystem more conducive to the creation and development of women entrepreneurs.
