14th annual European Union Christmas Concert

The Delegation of the European Union to Canada and the Diplomatic Missions of EU Member States were thrilled to welcome a live audience to the 14 annual European Union Christmas Concert on 3 December at Notre Dame Cathedral Basilica in Ottawa.

The highly-anticipated European Union Christmas Concert returned as a live event, and while pandemic restrictions limited the number of spectators, this was a special occasion that brought the joy and peace of the holiday season through traditional songs and carols from all corners of the European Union.

, put together by Artistic Director Timothy Piper, featured performances by Quartappella’s Daniel Gillis, Colleen Woodhouse, Sylvia Larrass and Timothy Piper, and by Chorale Lyrica Trio - Vanessa Charlton, Evelyn Pierce and Rory Piper. Special guest performers included sister-duo Sabína and Terézia Koziaková.A second performance took place on 12 December at Church of St. Bartholomew in Rockcliffe Park for a special television recording, which airs several times this holiday season on Rogers TV Ottawa.Thank you to all who made this special event possible!
