On 9 May, the Delegation of the European Union to Canada, in collaboration with Canadian partners and the diplomatic and consular networks of EU Member States, is organising a series of flag-raisings and illuminations of landmarks and iconic sites across Canada – in celebration of Europe and Canada’s cultural diversity. Participating cities include Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Niagara Falls, Edmonton, Vancouver, Victoria and Whistler.
