European Union Film Festival returns to the big screen in Toronto

After two entirely virtual editions in 2020 and 2021, we are thrilled to welcome you back in theatre. We are excited to bring an impressive line-up of dramas, comedies, documentaries and action films, and showcase both brilliant emerging talents as well as the latest work of master filmmakers.



This year, we are presenting 27 films from all 27 European Union Member States in cinema, with most of the films also available for streaming online across Canada. What’s more, we are also presenting a new feature film from Ukraine, Klondike, at special benefit screenings on the final day of the festival on 26 November in Toronto, a cinematic gesture of our continued solidarity with the people of Ukraine.

Organized in partnership with the European Union Film Festival in Toronto, the embassies, consulates and cultural institutes of EU Member States, the EUFF marks its 18th edition in Toronto.
