Pride 2025 in Canada: The EU reaffirms its commitment to human rights through participation in several events across the country

The European Union celebrates 2SLGBTQI+ voices through a series of human rights panel discussions, cultural events and public dialogues, in collaboration with community organizations and leaders in Toronto, Montreal, and Ottawa.

As part of its ongoing commitment to stand for equality, inclusion, and human rights, the European Union is proud to support a nationwide series of human rights dialogues across Canada during Pride Season 2025. Organized in partnership with local and international organizations, these events aim to foster transatlantic dialogue, amplify diverse voices, and strengthen solidarity with 2SLGBTQI+ communities.

Through these and other initiatives, the European Union in Canada continues to support inclusive spaces for reflection, expression, and mobilization. From Toronto to Montréal, these events showcase the strength of transatlantic cooperation in defending fundamental rights and promoting equality for all.
