EU Delegation to China hosts a seminar on China’s social media ecosystem
The Delegation of the European Union to China on 23 September 2022 will host a seminar on “Understanding China’s Social Media: Internal and Global Dimensions”.
This event is co-organised by the Delegation of the European Union to China and the Embassy of the Czech Republic to China in the context of the Czech Presidency of the Council of the European Union. Ambassador of the European Union to China H.E. Mr. Jorge Toledo and the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to China H.E. Mr. Vladimír Tomšík will be making introductory remarks.
Prominent speakers will be invited to share views on the specificities of Chinese social media and its regulatory environment, as well as the present and future potential of China’s social media ecosystem to reshape the economy and the society domestically and globally.
On Friday 23 September 2022, from 16:00 (10:00 CET) to 17:30 (11:30 CET), this seminar will take place in the premises of the EU Delegation to China and is open to registered attendees via Zoom.
