EU Delegation to China networking event brings together Chinese and European alumni in Beijing

On 27 February 2025, the EU Delegation to China, with the support of the public diplomacy program EUPOP, organised a networking event aiming to foster connections between Chinese alumni of European universities and European students. EU Ambassador to China Jorge Toledo opened the event, referring to the profound impact of people-to-people exchanges on building trust and understanding between the EU and China. “As we look back on the engagement between the EU and China over the past years, let us also look forward to the future with optimism and determination. The exchange of ideas and knowledge between our peoples is essential for the maintenance of EU-China relations. It is through these exchanges that we build the foundation of trust and understanding that will guide us in addressing global challenges and seizing new opportunities”, Ambassador Toledo said.
