On 26^th March, the EU Delegation to China organised a workshop aimed to provide Chinese development actors with further information to understand relevant EU foreign aid policies and implementing mechanisms, as well as the role of the EU in delivering on key international commitments, such as the UN 2030 agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Agreement.

The EU is the world’s largest and most influential development actor. We provide almost half of all global official development assistance (ODA), working with partner countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Caribbean. The EU is a long-standing, consistent and reliable actor on global development, supporting the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) around the world.
