Video message from EU Ambassador to China Nicolas Chapuis on World Environment Day

Today Ambassador Chapuis released a video message to mark World Environment Day. It reminds us that we have only one planet and that everyone and every country should take responsibility to safeguard its health.

The EU Green Deal demonstrates the EU’s commitment to take ambitious actions to further protect biodiversity and halt climate change.  Following the COVID 19 crisis, the EU stands ready to work closely with China  and all partners to contribute to a green and sustainable recovery. We are aiming for ambitious outcomes that will benefit the whole planet.
