The EU Special Representative for Human Rights, Olof Skoog, joined the celebrations of the 25 th anniversary of the establishment of the institution of the Council of Europe (CoE) Commissioner for Human Rights and held a bilateral meeting with the Secretary General of the Council of Europe.

In November, our exhibition “75 women in 75 years of the Council of Europe history” was displayed in Strasbourg (France) and in Warsaw (Poland).

For the 16 Days of Activism, the European Union Delegation to the Council of Europe joined the global fight against gender-based violence. Through campaigns, statements, and participation in public events, the EU reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to protecting women and girls and highlighted the importance of the Istanbul Convention.
