EU High Representative/Vice-President Kaja Kallas visited Addis Ababa on 15 July, meeting with H.E. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali and H.E. Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gedion Timothewos Discussions reaffirmed the importance of the longstanding EU-Ethiopia partnership and explored opportunities to further deepen cooperation on shared priorities.
HR/VP Kallas also met with members of EuroCham Ethiopia to exchange views with European businesses operating in the country on ways to promote EU–Ethiopia trade and investment, as well as advancing on #GlobalGateway.
The HR/VP also engaged with staff from the EU Delegation to Ethiopia and the EU Delegation to the African Union, followed by a visit to #unitypark, experiencing Ethiopia's rich cultural heritage, including a traditional Ethiopian lunch and coffee ceremony.
