The European Union Ambassador to Fiji and the Pacific, HE Sujiro Seam shares the highlights of this week.

Ambassador Seam started the week with a virtual meeting with the European Union Ambassadors in the Pacific. The recent election of the new Secretary-General of the Pacific Islands Forum and subsequent announcement by the five Micronesian states to withdraw from the forum was high on the agenda. He then opened a workshop on participation and accountability in public finance management. Ambassador Seam ended his week by handing over art and musical equipment to the Fiji School of the Blind under the I see Love in Your Eye Initiative, which is supported by his wife Jane Seam
