15.09.2022

The USP component of the European Union funded Intra-ACP GCCA+ Pacific Adaptation to Climate Change and Resilience Building (PACRES) programme is implemented in partnership with the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP, lead agency), The Pacific Community (SPC) and Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIFS). PACRES aims at building an integrated approach to address Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management in the Pacific-ACP region.

To support resilience building in P-ACP countries, PACRES USP supports USP staff and student negotiators at UNFCCC Conference of the Parties (COP) sessions. It facilitates trainings at sub-national levels to address climate change and disaster risk management, mainstream climate change and disaster risk management into national, sub-national, community development plans, and scaling-up ecosystem-based adaptation pilots.
