The Nofotane Samoa Social Enterprise (NSSE) Project seeks to empower Nofotane women to achieve financial independence, social empowerment, and overall well-being.This is envisaged through the transition of the Nofotane Program to a social enterprise set up from 2027, providing employment, education and empowerment opportunities to Nofotane women, inclusive of women with disabilities.

This overarching objective underpins three objectives, each with its own pillar:

  • • Employment pillar - generate employment opportunities for Nofotane
  • • Education pillar - improve access for Nofotane women to education and training, 
  • • Empowerment pillar - establish a National Network of Nofotane Women and offer health and wellbeing programs.
