European Film Festival in Honduras
The Head of Delegation,Jaume Segura, inaugurated the Festival along with representatives of the Government, the diplomatic corps, international cooperation, representatives of the Honduran film industry and the media. Among the guests, it is worth mentioning the presence of the director of the university film archive, Mr. Rene Pauck, who highlighted the importance of cinema in the cultural field.
The HoD affirmed that art and culture is a tool to strengthen cultural relations and share values.
In May, the films will be screened, with free access, at the Spanish Cultural Center in Tegucigalpa, at the French Alliance of Tegucigalpa and at the German Cultural Center. Similarly, they will be screened in three more cities: San Pedro Sula, Gracias, Peña Blanca and Santa Barbara.
The programming is part of the activities of the European Month in commemoration of the Day of Europe.
