Annual meeting of EU member states Ambassadors with Iceland's Prime Minister

On 16 June 2026, the annual meeting of the Ambassadors of the Member States of the European Union accredited to Iceland took place at the House of Collections in Reykjavík. The Prime Minister of Iceland, Kristrún Frostadóttir, attended as the guest of honour at the meeting, which was organised by the EU Delegation to Iceland.

During the meeting, the ambassadors exchanged views with the Prime Minister on recent developments in Icelandic politics as well as European and international affairs.

The EU Delegation would like to extend its gratitude to Prime Minister Kristrún Frostadóttir for her participation and for the valuable and informative exchange of views.
