EU Ambassador Visits the News Department at Stöð 2, Vísir and Bylgjan

On Wednesday, 14 February 2024, the Ambassador of the European Union to Iceland, Ms Lucie Samcová-Hall Allen, and the Deputy Head of Delegation, Mr Samuel Ulfgard, visited the joint news department of Stöð 2, Vísir and Bylgjan and met with the Chief News Editor, Ms Erla Björg Gunnarsdóttir, and her team to learn more about the media outlet and their day-to-day operations.
The Ambassador was given a tour around the news department, the various TV broadcasting and radio studios, and got a chance to chat with staff members about the media outlet's various TV and radio programmes.
The EU Delegation thanks Ms Gunnarsdóttir, and her team, for the warm welcome and informative discussions.
