The Chair and CEO of the Farmers' Association of Iceland, Mr Trausti Hjálmarsson and Ms Vigdís Häsler, alongside other colleagues, visited the EU Delegation on Friday and met with the EU Ambassador to Iceland, Ms Lucie Samcová-Hall Allen.

During the meeting, the Farmers' Assocation and the Ambassador discussed Icelandic agriculture and domestic food production, food security, EU-Iceland cooperation and trade, and the future opportunities and challenges facing the 3,000 hard working farmers of Iceland.

The Ambassador thanks Mr Hjálmarsson and Ms Häsler for their visit and for the informative discussion.
