Making Pride Accessible: the EU and Member States Finance an Accessible Viewing Platform at Reykjavík Pride 2025

Celebrating diversity means celebrating everyone—the EU Delegation to Iceland and EU Member States made sure Reykjavík Pride 2025 was accessible and more inclusive.

The EU Delegation to Iceland is proud to have supported Reykjavík Pride 2025 and, in line with previous years, accessibility and inclusion took centre stage. In a Team Europe approach, the Delegation teamed up with the Embassies of France, Finland, Ireland, Sweden and Germany to co-finance the installation of an accessible viewing platform next to the main event stage.

The EU Ambassador to Iceland, Clara Ganslandt, and the Delegation's staff also participated in the Pride Parade alongside colleagues from various other embassies located in Iceland under the joint banner "Diplomats for Equality".
