As a means of combatting the pandemic, the European Union is coordinating on a common European response to the corona virus outbreak, wherein data, super computers and Artificial Intelligence (AI) will play a major role as computational capabilities accelerate the development of vaccines and treatments.
At the same time, in India, the innovation ecosystem - including the start-up community and larger organizations alongside the government - is actively working on AI-based solutions to address immediate challenges by the pandemic across different sectors.
