Call for expression of interest – EU Goes to School Project Implementing Partner

The Delegation of the European Union to India intends to award a contract to a Project Implementing Partner for the implementation of  “EU Goes to School” project, financed by the European Union.

Interested entities are invited to submit an expression of interest by 03 August 2026, 23:59 (India time), to the following email address: delegation-india-press@eeas.europa.eu

Expression of interest received after the deadline will not be considered. 

The expression of interest should include:

  1. Name of the company
  2. Registered address
  3. Contact person
  4. E-mail address

The tender documents, including the technical specifications, will be sent to all interested entities after the deadline for submitting expression of interest.

About the EU Goes to School Program:

EU Goes to School program is an informative and interactive educational and outreach platform to create awareness about the European Union in India by engaging with students in English-medium schools with typically in the 12-17 year age group. The project aims to promote competencies by developing global awareness and cross-cultural skills amongst the students and instilling in them an appreciation of different cultures and languages by introducing them to the rich and diverse cultures of EU. It touches on the topics such as the EU’s history, institutions, and their growing role in the face of the global challenges like climate change, sustainability, health, food security, digitisation, etc.

The project includes:

PART-A – FOR DELHI NCR SCHOOLS

  1. 1 day Art Workshop with  select students from Delhi NCR schools (up to 10) that will go on to participate in the intra-school art project 
  2. An intra-school art installation project in select (up to 10) Delhi/NCR schools.  
  3. Visit of EU and EU Member States Ambassadors/DCMs/Counsellors to Delhi NCR Schools (up to 10). 

  4. A  wall art / large-scale public installation project with select schools (up to 10) at a public facing space/school wall with different set of schools. 

PART-B- FOR BEYOND DELHI NCR SCHOOLS (OUT STATION)

Taking the project beyond Delhi, the project will engage with leading schools in select cities where EU Ambassador, counsellors/officials will be travelling through the year on pre-planned missions. The idea is to utilize the visit by adding engagement at a local school to talk about EU, its values, EU-India partnership and higher education opportunities. 

PART-C- A COLLABORATIVE ART EXHIBITION 

To conclude the project, we will host a collaborative exhibition before the EU Day 2027 (9th May 2027) featuring the final installations from all ten participating schools. Following this, the same will also be showcased on EU Day on/around 9th May.  

PART-D- QUIZ COMPETITION FOR OTHER ZONES (EAST, WEST, SOUTH AND CENTRAL)

This year (2026-27 academic year), we are planning to head into any two new zones to host high-energy quiz competitions that bring students together in a whole new way. These sessions will be designed to be fun and interactive, focusing on the basics of the European Union to help students better understand its role and culture. It’s all about sparking curiosity and expanding the project’s reach to even more young minds across the country. The goal is to hold a session for about 100 to 150 students from different schools of each cities including a 1-day workshop.
