Europe on Screen: The EU Film Festival in Indonesia
The European Film Festival is a joint initiative of the European diplomatic and cultural representations in Indonesia. The festival was held for the first time in Indonesia in 1990, followed by the second in 1999. As of 2003, the European Film Festival in Indonesia has been held annually.
During the period of 2004 to 2006, the European Film Festival was featured as a section of the Jakarta International Film Festival (JIFFest). In 2007 it returned to its initial status as a stand-alone event and was rebranded under the banner “Europe on Screen” (EOS).
The EOS 2021 is the 21st edition of the European Film Festival. The EOS 2021 Festival Co-Directors are Ms Meninaputri Wismurti and Mr Nauval Yazid. The EOS Steering Committee is chaired by the EU Delegation to Indonesia.
