Toward the goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, METI established a 2 trillion-yen Green Innovation Fund as part of the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization and will provide continuous support for R&D projects, demonstrations, and social implementation projects for 10 years to companies that commit to ambitious goals. In this lecture, Mr. Kasai introduced background and outline of the Fund, including scheme and program schedule.
