Celebrating European Film in Maasai Mara

A celebration of film, culture and a people to people exchange happened at the Maasai Mara University, located in Narok, Kenya.

As part of the European Union Delegation to Kenya’s Film Festival “Campus Edition”, the EU Deputy Head of Delegation, Ondrej Simek, together with the Ambassador of Ireland to Kenya, H. E Catriona Ingoldsby, visited the University, where they interacted with the students during the screening of the film “Mrs Robinsons” and the Kenyan film “Otis Janam” that was followed up with quite an interactive discussion. The event also provided an opportunity for the students to interact with Kenyan film makers and to engage in pitching workshops. 

During the event, our Team Europe Member States, including Hungary, Ireland and the EU Delegation also presented information on Study in Europe opportunities and engaged with the students on possibilities of furthering their studies in Europe.
