The general scope of the contract is:

• The vehicles shall be serviced well maintained saloon type or equivalent. Clean inside/out, neat and fresh at all times, properly registered, inspected and valid insurance covering vehicle and third party
• The allied taxis drivers shall be duly licenced, well groomed, responsible, polite, friendly, respectful and punctual. They must possess impeccable knowledge of the local roads/alternative routes and be mindful of safety and security in their operation. They shall not have a criminal record or have been engaged with any major mishaps on the road
• The tenderer shall demonstrate availability for provision of services at short notice and outside normal business working hours
• The area of operation is the Nairobi metropolitan,  suburbs of Nairobi, Central Business District (CBD) and Jomo Kenyatta International Airport
• The contractor shall propose an account manager proficient in English as the key contact for management of his team and operations

The tender is open only to operators duly licensed/authorised to performance the services and must be able to prove this with valid documentation.

The  procedure shall culminate in a framework agreement that establishes the terms governing specific contracts to be awarded during the validity period of the agreement. The foreseen duration of the framework contract is a maximum of 24 Months.
